Interlude
Hello everybody, Zeus here. I know what you’re going to say, “Zeus! In the last post you promised weekly updates and that you would be more active. That post was 3 months ago!”. I’m being honest when I tell you that I tried sticking to the plan, and I even made 2 posts which I just forgot to upload. And although I broke my promise last time, this time, I promise you that I will stick to being more consistent and posting every week. And if I don’t, you have permission to pelt me with water balloons. Now, back to the topic.
Back To My Memecoin
You all know me as the football fanatic or if you’re closer to me maybe you’d consider me a musician. So it must be really confusing to see me write a blog post about owning a memecoin. Before this I was very openly interested in crypto and trading but I just nevcr bothered learning past the beginner stage, that was until now. So, let me tell you how I made my very own memecoin.
Something that’s pretty gosh darn important is the name of the memecoin. It’ll forever be synonymous with the token and it’ll be what people remember. Which is why I chose to give it a very catchy name, $DIDID.
This is the story of how I made it;
The $DIDID token basically appeared out of thin air. It all started to come afloat when I saw a video about the process of making a memecoin, that video was Baird Business’s video talking about his memecoin, Hami The Hamster.
Now, while I watched the video these ideas started to come into my mind of owning a memecoin (these ideas started popping up when he talked about tapping the $1 million market cap which just sounded crazy to me). Then I realised, I’m only 13 years old, I could make my own and have all the time in the world. And so that’s how I created Didi The Duck, you can clearly see that I was still very heavily influenced by Hami with that name.
Something else that I realised was that, even if it took me 3-5 years to be successful or to reach the heights Hami hit, I would still only be in high school.
Having the time to do something is always amazing, whether that be having enough time to devote yourself to practising guitar, having the time to study for an upcoming test, having the time to invest yourself into pro gaming or having the time to launch a cute duck memecoin. Having time in general is great.
So, why start early?
A great example of this is the man, the myth, the legend, Elon Musk. Elon started his career at just 12 years old, a year younger than me. At 12 he would teach himself to program and he even developed his first ever company during that same period of time, the company was a video game company. If you look at it for what it is you might not find much, but if you understand the message within, you’ll see a whole lot more. Because Elon started so early on at just 12 years old, he had enough time to experiment, learn, improve, fail and enjoy. To prove that, look at where he is now, he has had some of the biggest companies of the 21st century, Paypal, SpaceX and has just recently taken control over at Twitter which he’s renamed to X.
And Elon isn’t the only example. A few more people who started young are Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Richard Branspn and Warren Buffet who sold packs of gum to his neighbours.
$Didid is a testament to that idea. After I realised that I have time, I decided to follow through with the idea. I started with preparations. I made the telegram group and channel. I worked on the website. It all started as just one cute little joke, but slowly we realised we had a project in our hands. It’s not everyday when you find a cute, recognizable 15 year old duck to make the base of your memecoin.
Fortunately, my father supported all my ideas and helped me with everything, also fund the project for 2 Sol. By the way, my father is an internet marketer, a book author and youtuber with 300k+ subs. And so, I was sure that I had enough firepower to run the operation.
So, long story short, after several days of preparation, we launched it. 30 minutes after launch I felt like at the top of the world, at that point of time I had doubled the money and the project had gone from 2 sol to around 4.5 sol. And so I was really disappointed when people started to cash in our project. In a blink of an eye didid went from something to nothing. As I watched people sell and sell I hoped that the highs would be rejuvenated. I spent the next few hours staring at the chart, hoping for movement. The only movement I got was even more red.
Eventually I realised that every token (except rugs) has to go down to go up.
How Could I Prevent That
When didid went down I realised I couldn’t just lay back relax and hope for it to somehow go up, I had to do something. And so my father and I came up with a roadmap for the project. We decided that we wanted to make didid more than just your ordinary memecoin, we wanted to make a better memecoin.
And so we decided to make it into something that you can actually use. We decided to start making some utilities for the token.
We plan on growing didid slowly. I have only just recently been interested in crypto, so I want didid to be my path to learn more about crypto, about trading and the crypto world. I plan to give weekly updates of Didid on this website, and I’ll also post weekly updates on my youtube channel at @zeusdamoraastono.
And for all my long term readers (though I doubt there are any), don’t worry. I won’t make this website completely about didid. I will still talk about football a lot, and I might even throw some book reviews in the mix and see how that goes. Just know that, although this page is a year old now, we’re just getting started.
This is Zeus signing off, I’ll see you in the next post.
